Sunday

So today we went to a new church and decided to reward ourselves with Olive Garden for lunch. Good Stuff.

Breakfast:
1 Egg with 1 piece of toast: 115 C.
2 strips of Turkey bacon: 70 C.
8 oz Glass of Milk: 100 C.

Lunch:
Salad with Low Fat Italian Dressing (no cheese): 130 C.
Zuppa Tuscana: 200 C.
1/2 Breadstick: 70 C.

Dinner:
Tip Steak: 225 C.
Baked Potato with low fat sour cream: 185 C.
Watermelon: 160 C.

Snacks:
Strawberry Shortcake: 300 C.

Total: 1555 Calories.

So another Friday has arrived and I am ready to drink a few beers tonight.

Dinner:
Spaghetti and Meatballs: 557 C .

Snacks:
3 Thin Mint Cookies: 105 C.
2 Miller Lights: 220 C.
2 Scotch on the Rocks: 220 C.

Total: 1487 Calories Total.

Another good day considering the good time at the bar.
Hope that the weekend doesn't crush me.

3 Slices of Heaven

Just a warning to those of you that want to lose some weight: Never eat pizza again!!

So for lunch I had a business meeting where pizza was brought in. No big deal I think, just eat a few slices, and don't over do it.

Wrong!!!

3 slices of pizza = almost an entire days worth of calories.

I am so pissed right now. I can't believe I let myself do something like that.


Breakfast:
1/2 Everything Bagel: 185 C.
12 oz glass of Milk: 150 C.

Lunch:
1 slice of meat pizza: 430 C.
1 slice of Hawaiian pizza: 340 C.
1 slice of cheese pizza: 280 C.
1 can of Coke: 140 C.

Dinner:
Cottage Cheese: 80 C.
Chip sand salsa: 200 C.

Snacks:
2 Thin Mints (Damn Girl Scouts): 70 C.
8 oz glass of milk: 100 C.

Total: 1975 Calories.

Bad day, but I will make up for it the rest of the week.

Fat Salad

Oh No!!

I forgot to pick up my lunch this morning and I am going to have to order
in. Who wants to guess that the Chef Salad I ordered has almost 1000
calories?

ugh.


Breakfast:
Milk and Cereal Bar: 160 C.
8 oz glass of milk: 100 C.


Lunch:
Chef Salad from the Grid Iron: 620 C.
(That is the largest calorie intake in a while. Horrible.) Need to build a
stockpile of low cal. foods at work for when I forget my lunch.

Dinner:
Blackened Talapia: 149 C.
Rice: 190 C.

Snacks:
None.

Total: 1219 Calories

That salad didn't hurt me too bad, but I didn't get to have my snack, which sucks.

Win some money for pizzas, lots of them.

So Falstaff suggested that we get a little wager going on this recent craze of losing weight by poker bloggers. I say...Lets Gamboool, not to be confused with Gumbo.

Andrea and I have started a walking program that will take us well into the Summer.

The schedule can be found here.We started yesterday, so today we have a 15 minute walk to do. Should be interesting to see how far we can walk at the 60 min level.

Total: 1275 Calories.

Going to Ada!

I am heading to Ada tonight to see a band and hang out with some guys from work. Hopefully I don't get the munchies too bad.

Breakfast:
Egg Sandwich: 225 C.
12 oz. Glass of Milk: 150 C.

Lunch:
Chicken Breast sandwich: 190 C.
Cottage Cheese: 80 C.

Dinner:
Meat Ball Sandwich: 317 C.
Salad: 50 C.

Snacks:
Rum and Diet Pepsi X 6: 360 C.


Total: 1372 Calories.

Another kick ass day for me. I am going to start dropping weight like a champ.

This weeks average is: 1511 Calories/day.

That average is well below the goal. I am lowing the goal for next week to 1600 Calories. Wish me luck.

I was correct in the assumption that today would be mostly Beer. Here is the break down for today.

Total: 1482 C.
Wow, I guess I could have had a few more brews with Lawdog.

Falstaff has proposed some sort of wager for weight loss. Please get with me on Yahoo Instant Messenger (BigFatDanS)and we can discuss the details. But you have no idea of the potential I have.

I kick ass. Not even hungry. Making note to eat more chicken.

Hump Day

Managed to stay under 2000 calories for the day yesterday, but wasn't close to my goal of 1800. I will have to cut out the snacks and most of the beers. Ouch, cutting out beers. That is going to hurt pretty bad.

Breakfast:
2 eggs with 2 slices of toast: 280 C.
12 Oz glass of milk: 150 C.

Lunch:
Banquet Mexican enchiladas Combo Meal ($1 at you local Wal-Mart): 400 C.

Dinner:
Cheeseburger w/ Bun: 575 C
Tator Tots: 170 C

Snacks:
5:15pm Cottage Cheese: 160 C.

Total for the day: 1735 Calories

I managed to stay under my goal today. That is a good day. I hope to keep this trend going tomorrow.

Easter Candy is Evil

Banquet Salisbury Steak Meal (300 C.)

Bratwurst w/bun (460 C.)
Baked Beans (140 C.)

Snacks:
12:45 - Easter Candy: 1 peep(32 C.), three gummy lunch things (135 C. total)
7:00 - 3 Beers. (330 C. total)

Grand Total for today: 1917 Calories.

The goal for the week is an average of 1800 C.

The Quest Begins

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. This weekend, I stepped on our digital scale at home and the screen said "err". I have maxed out this little scale and I don't feel like buying a heavy duty one that can handle my obesisty. so i have decided to try and lose a few pounds. I am going to use this blog to monitor how much food I take in every day. i will post what I am eating and how many calories it all adds up to. i will review this after a while and try to determine if I might actually have a medical condition that is causing me to gain weight, or if I am just a fat ass who eats too much. We will see.
