Been here the Whole Time!!

Okay. So when we left off I was down 55 pounds and I was changing to a new job.

The new job is still good. I have actually been promoted since then, however with the new job came a 1.5 hour commute (one way!!) and a lot more fast food restaurants available for lunch. Translation:

I am once again a giant FAT ASS!!!

I am back up to a shapely 290 lbs. However, I have decided that it is time to lose the weight again and hopefully do it all be exercising and eating HEALTHY!! No starving myself like I did before. I have taken the first step by joining a gym. The great thing about this gym is that they offer free personal training. So I have a custom workout and someone that checks in on me every few days to be sure that I am staying on track and pushing myself.

I hope to post some progress here within the month, and I expect anyone that happens along this little corner of the world to give me the support that I need and hopefully after a few years of proper diet and exercise this blog will act as inspiration to others that are looking to take control of their life.

Alive!

I am alive. I have not lost any more weight. I will be making great strides soon when I get back on the diet and start logging calories again. The good news is that my weight has stabalized at around 245, so I lost 55 pounds and I have been able to keep it off. I will be logging calories again starting next week. This past month has been crazy as I have been getting ready to change jobs.

I turned in my resignation on Monday and I will be staying here until the end of the month, then I will be changing jobs and starting a whole new chapter in my career. Wish me luck!!

Must get back on track... Must not eat large pizza...

Well, here I am after not posting for almost a week. I feel guilty, embarrassed and I little bit worried about whether I will be able to reach my goals.

The good news is that I have managed to not gain any weight and I actually see a small decline still. I am sure it is because I have adjusted my eating habits enough that even on a bad day I am eating less than I was pre diet. Also, I would venture to guess that my metabolism has improved slightly.

But I plan to continue dieting and losing weight for the foreseeable future. However, I am going to change my technique a small amount. I plan to test my self and see how I do if I don't keep track everyday. If I just continue to eat healthy and exercise consistently then I expect to continue losing weight. I need to see if I have the ability to control myself without listing everything down to the calorie every single day. If I start to gain it all back then I will have to get back into logging every single stick of game that I eat, but until then I am going commando and trying this out. Wish me luck.
